They’re not as glossy as they look in the picture but they are very high-quality. People don’t believe me when I tell them they’re fake turtle shells. They took six months for them to come in but they’re worth the wait.

This is made from real distressed wood so there is certainly going to be variation with each piece that is made. That is totally reasonable. However, the product I received was WAY more weathered and distressed than the piece shown on their website and the piece in their showroom. The piece I received looks terrible. It looks as if it has been sitting outside in the elements for years and then finished with a white-pink paint to give it a “white-washed” look. It is not the rustic natural look like pictured on their website. I wish I had the option to upload photos to better portray these disappointing differences.

It’s exactly as it appears in the picture … made of delicate pretty shells that make it unique. The table top is not a smooth surface so be aware if you’re planning to set things atop. We will have glass protectors made so we can better use our 2 as night tables next to our bed.

Beautiful, simple, elegant. Wish it had included a light bulb for the price it was.
