Fluted Signature Dinnerware
The Royal Copenhagen stamp can be found underneath every piece of porcelain. In Fluted Signature, however, the stamp has been moved to the surface and is visible in an enlarged version. The royal crown symbolizes the connection between the Danish Royal Family and Royal Copenhagen. The cross decorating the crown is a jeweled crucifix, discovered in 1683 and dating back to medieval times. The three wave lines, representing Denmark's three main straits, the Great Belt, the Little Belt and the Sound, are applied as the factory trademark, in accordance with Queen Juliane Marie's original request.
