This traditional favorite is available in two weights: a year-round weight, and a light summer weight. On the inside, both are filled with 575 fill power white goose down. This down is harvested from younger geese, so the down clusters are smaller and it takes more down to fill up a comforter. As a result, the comforters will feel heavier. Also, since younger geese are more widely available than mature birds, 575 down is much more affordable than higher fill power downs.
On the outside, the comforter is covered with a 300 thread count sateen shell finished with silk piping. Large baffle box construction helps to maintain maximum down lofting.
