Beloved author of classic children’s books Beatrix Potter was born on this day in 1866. What grown-up doesn’t fondly remember the naughty bunnies, clever mice and dizzy ducklings that wander through her charming illustrations? In honor of her birthday, we’re showcasing some new collections of children’s tableware and crib bedding based on two of her best-loved characters.

Peter Rabbit is probably the most famous of Beatrix Potter’s creations; his adventures have delighted adults and children for over a hundred years. The Wedgwood Original Peter Rabbit and Wedgwood Peter Rabbit Christening baby dishes are sure to delight future generations for just as long.

The Original Peter Rabbit set features illustrations straight from the books, with a border of text from the stories. The Peter Rabbit Christening set features different illustrations from the book, with a border of vines. Jemima Puddle Duck is also illustrated on a set of dishes, with a text border. The decorations are painted on Wedgwood china.

All three collections are available in a three-piece set (includes mug, plate, and bowl) or two-piece set (mug and bowl.) Additional pieces include a two-handled mug for beginning sippers, and a money box and book gift set. Two-piece sets are $25 and three-piece sets are $35.
