An iconic Spanish brand, Lladro is a world leader in the creation of porcelain art. Started by brothers Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro in 1953, the ceramic figurines were initially inspired by the works of great European manufacturers like Meissen and Sevres. Over time, a unique style was forged, consisting of elongated lines, a revolutionary single-firing method, and soft pastel tones.

In 1785, when Maria Anne Fitzherbert opened a love letter from her admirer, Prince George of Wales, she wasn’t expecting to find an eye gazing intently back at her. The prince had fallen in love with Fitzherbert, but their courtship had been disastrous. Royal laws forbade a Catholic widow like his beloved from becoming a monarch. But the prince was determined to marry her and he wrote her a letter containing a rare, spellbinding gift, a miniature painting of George’s own right eye. Eye miniatures, also known as lover’s eyes, cropped up across Britain and were in vogue for around half a century. As with the royal couple, most were commissioned as gifts expressing devotion between loved ones. All were intimate and exceedingly precious, meant to be tucked into pockets, or pinned close to the heart. The Lover’s Eyes collection is inspired by this fascinating tradition, bringing into the 21st century a series of functional objects that seem to look back at us. In this case, a jewelry box featuring an eye etched in vivid detail on the porcelain. It is decorated in a combination of intense Saxony blue and golden luster on white porcelain. A creation full of meaning, both functional and hypnotic.

Customs and Duties

Oversized Charges

Address Correction
You are responsible for providing us with accurate and deliverable addresses with your order. If we are charged address correction, returned shipment, remote or non-deliverable location surcharges, or re-shipping fees by the carrier delivering your order, those fees will be billed to you.

Returns

Special return policy for this product:
Available by special order only; not returnable.

Items in new, unused, and shelf-ready condition with all original packaging may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. If the items were sold as sets or in multiples, they must be returned in the same sets of multiples.

Exceptions to this return policy include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Sale items, discounted items, custom orders, special orders and monogrammed items are not returnable. Items discounted from their MSRP, such as rugs, and items discounted during special promotion periods are returnable

2. Art, furniture, mirrors, and sterling silver items are not returnable.

3. Alain Saint Joanis, Alberto Pinto, Ambella Home, Anna Weatherley, Caracole, Chelsea House, Christofle, Daum, David Mellor, Downright, Ercuis, Essentials for Living, Frederick Cooper, Ginori 1735, Global Views, Interlude Home, Ivy Guild, Jamie Young, John-Richard, J Seignolles, Kelly Hoppen, Lalique, Lladro, Made Goods, Meissen, Mike & Ally, Noir, Sonder, Varga, Villa & House and Wildwood Lamps items are not returnable.

4. Herend, Jay Strongwater and Moser items will incur a 20% restocking charge

5. Shipping fees are not refundable.

Special orders, custom orders, Alain Saint Joanis, Alberto Pinto, Ambella Home, Anna Weatherley, Caracole, Chelsea House, Christofle, Daum, David Mellor, Downright, Ercuis, Essentials for Living, Frederick Cooper, Ginori 1735, Global Views, Interlude Home, Ivy Guild, Jamie Young, John-Richard, J Seignolles, Kelly Hoppen, Lalique, Lladro, Made Goods, Meissen, Mike & Ally, Noir, Sonder, Varga, Villa & House and Wildwood Lamps are not cancellable once they have been placed.

Items which do not meet these conditions will be returned to you, and you will be charged for all return shipping charges. Any items returned without a Return Authorization number will be automatically returned to you, and you will be charged for all return shipping charges.

If you received free shipping on your order, the original shipping costs will be deducted from your return if you get a refund for your return. They would not be deducted if you get a gift card for your return.
