These dinner plates are understated elegance. The plates have bolder fluting at the rim, subtly disappearing as they move towards plate center. It’s reminiscent of a popular Williams Sonoma fluted design, but better executed. These Royal Copenhagen plates also stand prouder (higher) than the W.S. place setting; a subtle improvement, in my judgement.

This exceeded my expectations with the plate arriving in a keepsake box and booklet with the history of the plates. Very nice and I highly recommend it.

All of my fine china cups only hold a few ounces so I love that these are larger. IMO they will add an elegant touch to a holiday dinner. This is such a beautiful pattern and bound to be a family heirloom.

I was concerned that these bowls might be too small for anything other than tidbits such as nuts and candy. So I was pleasantly surprised that they will be ideal for ice cream, desserts, cereals, etc.
