Description
The Ganymede sculpture is a precious designer candelabra depicting a dreamy-looking head decorated with a gold band running through her hair.
The head weighs 109,3 oz, is 11 in wide and 8,2 in high, is made of pure porcelain and is crafted and decorated entirely by hand. Included in the package is a 6,7 oz Palazzo Centauro scented candle.
A dreamy head caressed by the sun which is reflected in the Grand Canal. It is a fragment of a statue – a young man skillfully modelled by unknown hands and found in the Palazzo Centauro, a place made impenetrable by the play of light and shadows that chase one another.
The candleholder is one of five precious Luchino's Souvenirs. A uniquely designed piece of art, it is a memory of the English designer Luke Edward Hall's imaginary journey to the Palazzo Centuaro: the fantasy palace in Venice, one of the artist's favourite destinations.
The other four Luchino's Souvenirs, an incense burner, a scented candle with cover, a lidded box and a green candelabra, recall the corresponding four places with romantic atmospheres that each fragrance evokes: Fox Thicket Folly recounts il Cotswolds, La Gazelle d’Or Marrakech, Rajathra Palace il Rajasthan, Rain Rock Creek il Big Sur.
