Description
A vase inspired by the ocean. It carries inside all its varying shades—from the depths’ dark blues to the light tones of the surface. The breathtaking optical effects of hand-glossed crystal evoke the same play of reflecting light as those created by the sun across the sea. The aquamarine colour taken from Moser’s historical colour palette had never been used in such a massive piece. “Abyss has walls of various thicknesses, which afford it a great number of valeurs for a single colour. We achieved this effect only through cutting, not underlaying. This was a huge challenge for the glassmakers and cutters, and I’m proud of our accomplishment,” says designer Jan Plecháč. The gloss Abyss vase is a limited edition of 33 pieces.

Created by Ludwig Moser & Sons, the line originated as an engraving studio in the spa town of Karlsbad, located in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), a region with deep roots in superior glass-making. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Moser developed its now famous technically perfect crystal production, employing a unique formula for producing a substance as hard as rock and as brilliant as lead crystal - but without using a trace of lead. This composition is very suitable for Moser's marvelous engravings, is ecologically sound and remains free of all concerns associated with lead.
Moser's innovative techniques in cutting, engraving and coloring quickly won the line great acclaim at many prestigious international art exhibitions. Soon Moser became the proud possession of royalty, heads of state and well-known personalities throughout the world, an esteemed reputation that has held fast and continues to grow now in the 21st century.
Today, Moser produces a wide range of stem and barware, holloware, accessories, giftware and art glass, all showcasing the superior quality, innovation and remarkable artistic expression for which the line has long been recognized.

International Deliveries
Gracious Style ships internationally. After you place your order, we will provide an estimated shipping cost and request your confirmation before proceeding. International shipping charges are billed when your package ships. For destination-specific rates or assistance, please contact us.
Customs and Duties
Unless expressly stated otherwise, international shipping quotes and order totals do not include customs duties, VAT/GST, import taxes, brokerage, disbursement, clearance, or other carrier or governmental charges. The purchasing customer is responsible for these amounts. Carriers or customs authorities may collect them from the recipient at delivery. If a carrier, customs authority, or other third party invoices Gracious Style for charges related to your order—including because the recipient does not pay them at delivery—we will charge the purchasing customer’s original payment method for the amount invoiced.
Oversized Charges
Certain larger items are subject to an oversized-delivery charge. When applicable, this charge is noted in parentheses after the item price and is in addition to the standard shipping rate.
Address Correction
You are responsible for providing an accurate, deliverable shipping address. If a carrier bills Gracious Style for an address correction, returned shipment, remote or non-deliverable location surcharge, or re-shipping fee related to your order, we will charge the purchasing customer’s original payment method for the amount billed.
Returns
Exceptions to this return policy include, but are not limited to, the following:
Items which do not meet these conditions will be returned to you, and you will be charged for all return shipping charges. Any items returned without a Return Authorization number will be automatically returned to you, and you will be charged for all return shipping charges.
