Blue Fluted Mega dinnerware is the rebirth of a legacy. At the turn of the Millenium a young design student, Karen Kjaeldgard-Larsen, presented Royal Copenhagen with a bold idea...a dramatic interpretation of the classic Blue Fluted pattern. With this renewal, the 1775 pattern evolved and a modern classic was born, both comfortingly familiar and surprisingly refreshing. In this unusual reinterpretation of the blue fluted pattern, selected details have been enlarged but are still painted by hand, preserving the original and unique vivid blue effect. The Blue Fluted Mega pattern was created by the young design student Karen Kjældgård-Larsen in 2000, signalled the beginning of a new adventure. The famous hand-painted pattern has become a household name again, expressing both its historical authenticity and creative, innovative thinking. Blue Fluted Mega was originally designed with 8 different patterns. On the back of your Mega product you will find a number. This refers to the pattern on this specific item.
Royal Copenhagen is a world famous brand producing exclusive, high-quality porcelain dinnerware, figurines, home decor items and collectibles that delight collectors and new generations of customers. Originally owned by the Danish Royal Family, they produced fine porcelain for the Queen of Denmark. In the trademark Danish colors of blue and white, Royal Copenhagen's designs have been handpainted and manufactured by ancient methods refined since 1775. They are well known for their Flora Danica and Blue Fluted collections, which are but part of a line of 135 dinnerware patterns.
Detail
Care: Dishwasher and microwave safe. If your products have decorations in gold, silver or other metals, we recommend washing them by hand. Items with gold or platinum decoration should not be microwaved.
You can easily put your Royal Copenhagen set into the oven, but the set should warm up gradually. Do not expose your set to direct fire or to too quickly changing temperatures, and remember always to cool down gently.

International Deliveries

Customs and Duties
Unless expressly stated otherwise, international shipping quotes and order totals do not include customs duties, VAT/GST, import taxes, brokerage, disbursement, clearance, or other carrier or governmental charges. The purchasing customer is responsible for these amounts. Carriers or customs authorities may collect them from the recipient at delivery. Oversized Charges
Certain larger items are subject to an oversized-delivery charge. When applicable, this charge is noted in parentheses after the item price and is in addition to the standard shipping rate.
Address Correction
You are responsible for providing an accurate, deliverable shipping address. If a carrier bills Gracious Style for an address correction, returned shipment, remote or non-deliverable location surcharge, or re-shipping fee related to your order, we will charge the purchasing customer’s original payment method for the amount billed.
Returns
Exceptions to this return policy include, but are not limited to, the following:
Items which do not meet these conditions will be returned to you, and you will be charged for all return shipping charges. Any items returned without a Return Authorization number will be automatically returned to you, and you will be charged for all return shipping charges.
